Extremely busy family with kid’s soccer, basketball, art nearly every evening

Challenge: Moving an organizing the entire family from a 1500 sq. ft. home to a new 3800 sq. ft. home. The old home had no system in place for paper management—schoolwork, art, photos and bills which landed in every room. Kids rooms had no place for clothes, toys or schoolwork. Garage items were overflowing on some metal racks and there had been a rat infestation.

Solution: Worked with the husband/wife for several weeks prior to the move on sorting and clearing of all unwanted items. Simultaneously, creating storage systems for loose magazines, photos and their first family paper management system. Also, utilized this time to coach the family on organizing systems in every part of the house. One week before the move, completed professional closet systems in the master bedroom, kids rooms and garage. The moving company was terrific and the move was rolled out over a couple of days, giving the family an opportunity to adjust slowly to their new environment. When the family arrived all clothes were organized, garage items in place, kitchen set up and boxes removed from the premises.
